Petit Giraffe

Look what I made!

This oh-so-cute Giraffe was quite fun to make and
I just love his chubby little legs and body and butt.

He will be for sale very soon in my Etsy store.

Luna of the Land and Sea

I LOVED making Luna of the Land and Sea.
I upsized her as I wanted her to be quite big.

I forgot to measure her before she was gifted but if I had to roughly guess,
she is about 50cm tall.

I love that I can send her off with her tail on and then you get surprised to find out
she also has legs, a cute dress and a stylish bikini!

Pattern is from The Merino Mermaid on Etsy

A Teal Blue Owl

I've just completed a custom made
Teal Blue owl!

I really love these shades of blue
and love that strangers can
suggest colour combo's
that I wouldn't have thought of myself!

Brontosaurus

I've recently made a Brontosaurus
from the Fresh Stitches pattern Cliff the Brontosaurus

Although, I will be adding orange spikes down his back,
which might actually make him a different type of dinosaur?

This item is available for Custom Order
Check out the Catalogue tab above for details!

Another Boxy Bunny

I've made another Boxy Bunny
this one is cream/gray with navy shorts
and was a custom order together
with the original cream bunny with blue shorts

These bunnies are just so cute aren't they?!
I'v sold three bunnies this week
and might have to just make up some more
especially for Easter!

Boxy Bunny

This is Boxy Bunny
Boxy Bunnies will be limited edition
because I am using leftover bits of yarn
to make Boxy Bunny
so you may not find the same colour combinations available
or the same skirt/shorts etc.

Soon enough Boxy Bunny will
be listed in my Made It Store - Hooky Fun
Boxy Bunny is 8 inches or 20.5cm tall
and would be easy for little hands to hold

Safety eyes are used, but eyes can be
felt and sewed on if preferred

Pattern Credit to Minazara
but note I have altered the original pattern

**At the moment I am only posting to Australia
but feel free to contact me
to see if overseas post is viable**

We Have Hair

It's taken some time to get this right
and quite some time to pull apart yarn
but doll finally has some hair!

Now to make her some pretty clothes and she is ready to go.
I think I might sell this doll as a one-off item in my Etsy store.
To be Updated!

A Doll in the Making

I have been searching for a good pattern
to make a doll for a very long time.

I finally found one that looked good and didn't use
tiny little hooks, as these hurt my hands.

I came across Just My Size Sammy on Ravelry
and was instantly impressed.

Here are a few of my progress shots.
The most laborious part is the hair!
I have re-done the hair 3 times so far
and I still don't have a good look!

This is how the hair looked after I made the 'wig cap' and attached stands.
After attaching almost a full head I held her up
and her head just flopped backwards.
I was devastated to say the least.
I really wanted her hair to be down but this method wasn't working
If I were to put her hair up or in some
'Princess Leia buns' this method would work great

Here is a close up of the hands and her belly button.
I modified these from the pattern - both the
thumbs and the belly button are just bobble stitches.
I modified the hands little also.

Can't wait to figure out her hair and get some more progress shots!

Sam the Koala

Here is Sam the Koala
He is roughly 6" or 15cm tall when sitting

I gave him felt ears as I didn't like the look
of the loop stitch ears.

Going to try out a fluffy yarn next time
for his ears and his tummy

He really is quite cute, and would look good in any colour!

Introducing: Leonidas

I made this Lion Toy for a Christmas Present.
I made it up as I went along,
and thankfully, wrote it down.

He turned out pretty cute.
Not what I was expecting, but still sweet.
